About Us

Our Story

Before carrying her own name, Marie-Christine Gagnon, the brand was known as Les Névrosées. Founded in 2006 on Saint-Hubert Street in Montreal, this first creative venture allowed Marie-Christine to make a name for herself with original, expressive clothing designed for women who wanted to show their personality through style.
A true creative playground, Les Névrosées offered unique pieces full of freedom and boldness — a refreshing alternative to conventional fashion.

After closing the boutique in 2010 and spending several years balancing work and family life, Marie-Christine chose to return to her first love: creation.
Today, she signs her collections under her own name, Marie-Christine Gagnon, marking a new chapter in her journey while preserving the free-spirited and imaginative essence that defined Les Névrosées.

Our Inspirations

The world of Marie-Christine Gagnon speaks to the woman who is bold and self-assured — one who stands out without compromising her femininity.
Her collections draw from a vibrant mix of retro and punk influences, now enriched with inspirations of the warmth, color and life of Mexico.
Each piece is designed as a unique creation, crafted from expressive and varied fabrics that reflect the richness and individuality of the women who wear them.

Marie-Christine Gagnon

Originally from Quebec City, Marie-Christine Gagnon discovered her passion for clothing at an early age. A graduate in Fashion Design from LaSalle College, she honed her craft between Casablanca and Montreal, working with designers such as Marie Saint-Pierre and Versace.
Her path then led her to the world of performing arts, notably with Cirque du Soleil, where she explored new creative dimensions accessory design where she discovered that creation goes far beyond the fabric itself.

In 2006, she founded Les Névrosées, a project that embodied her bold and feminine artistic vision. After stepping away to focus on family life and pursuing a different career path, Marie-Christine has now returned to creation — inspired by the vibrant colors and spirit of Mexican culture, where she currently produces part of her collections.
Her designs are available at L’Autre Placard on Mont-Royal Avenue East in Montreal, and in Mexico during the winter season.
